Silence was all that was heard between us. I sat in my chair, staring out with the trees moving and running past us. I sat, holding my seat belt to my chest, aching in a way that was so familiar. The sensation one that I knew very well, you would think that living with something for so long would make you numb to it yet it never happened. I swallowed, my mouth dry so I bent and grabbed the bottle of water in the paper bag. My eyes grazed over the box of pills and I blinked, swallowing again. I took the bottle of water, opening it and drowning down the bitter taste in my mouth. My stomach was empty having me take up a banana which I had not eaten in a while. I peeled it open, taking a few bites with that even difficult itself. My throat was dry with the banana going down with such difficult
