CHAPTER 2

SIYA'S POV

"Darsh ,eat slowly baby" I told him but he just ignored me. I sighed, i wish i could make him understand but he is just a kid and i know it's too much for him. 

"mumma" my chain of thoughts broke when i heard rey calling out for me, he was playing with his toys and was now clinging on to my legs to pick him in my arms.

I smiled as i picked him up in my arms and kissed his cheeks, he giggled. 

"Good morning everyone" I turned only to see zameer at the door step. I smiled sadly as i walked over to him.

"Good morning" i said as he took rey from my arms into his. 

"siya" i smiled again as serena took me into a warm hug. 

"I'll miss you, why are you going away from us" i sighed, my heart felt so heavy that i couldn't dare to even blink afraid i might start crying in front of her and zameer.

"well because she doesn't love you anymore and that's why we are moving" I heard darsh uttering those words and then running straight back to his room. 

"Darsh" i called out for him but he didn't stop, i sighed again, it's been a year and a half since we are living here, he had finally overcame his fears and had started a new journey with new friends. 

"Don't worry I'll talk to him" Zameer said and i nodded.

"dad can i talk to him " i heard a soft little voice, zeniya stood there in her cute navy blue frock looking so adorable, a cheerful girl but today her eyes didn't have the spark that they used to have and i felt so guilty, Darsh and zini became best friends in these months and there were just so inseparable and i hated myself for that but there was nothing that i could do about it.

"sure, sweetheart" he smiled and she walked to his room. 

"I'll miss you guys too" I looked at them, they were sad i knew but i needed to go. 

"then why are you going" Zameer snapped and serena rubbed his arm, his anger was valid but what i could do, i had to leave.

"Zameer, you know the reason an-"

"yeah yeah got the new job, can't stay here for long, or the boss will fire and then there would be a huge loss because that company is too good and the offer is amazing" He groaned and huffed. 

"c'mon zameer it's not like i would never be in touch with you guys, I swear i'll call you and serena every day" i sat beside him. He didn't look at me just kept playing with rey who was giggling in his arms, happy that his uncle was here for him. 

"yeah, yeah whatever" he rolled his eyes.

"so is the packing done" serena asked me and i nodded 

"yep just some favourite toys of rey are left, rest everything is packed" i chuckled taking rey in my arms.  

"and about that moron, where is he" Zameer asked 

"meer" serena glared at him.

"yeah actually he had to leave early in the morning due to some urgent work" i said and he just gave me a look which said he doesn't believe me.

"alright then I'll help you out with some those boxes because i don't think so your husband would be here anytime now considering he left for some urgent work early in the morning" i could detect the venom in his voice for him. 

"oh god meer what's your problem with him, he is a nice man and on top of that he loves her" serena glared at him.

"serena, it's ok" i passed her a smile.

"yeah right, i hate him, can't you see he is taking her and the kids away from us" He snarled picking up the boxes and walking out of the house. 

A tear rolled down my eye but i wiped it quickly. 

"don't be sad siya, he is just upset that you're moving to Australia" i nodded at serena's words.

"Anyways let me help you out with the packing, your flight is tonight" Serena then helped me out with all the remaining packing and i was really thankful to her and zameer. 

Zeniya and darsh were still in his room, i knew they were going to miss eachother so much but i was helpless.

"Zameer can you please drop us off actually -"

"your husband called and said he would meet you directly at the airport, can't believe him" i shook my head, no matter what i would say he wouldn't listen to me at all. 

"yeah" i said locking the main door, taking one last glance at my house, i have spent six months here and there was no emotional attachment, i feel so empty that it hurts me.

"come" serena grabbed my hand, rey was in serena's arm, the driver kept our luggage in the car and we settled inside. 

Around half an hour later we reached airport, i felt so exhausted that i didn't even have the energy to cry. 

"where is that moron husband of yours" Zameer hissed folding his arms over his chest. 

"well I'm right behind you" I was about to say when i heard his voice. 

"oh I thought you wouldn't be coming" zameer glared at him but shut his mouth when serena elbowed him.

"Hey Viraj, please take care of her and the kids" serena smiled and he nodded with a smile.

"don't worry serena, they are my family, I would surely take care of them" serena nodded, i looked at darsh, his hand in zini's hand but he was constantly glaring at viraj. 

"let's go champ" he spoke excitedly to rey as he took him from zameer's embrace, not even a second passed and rey began crying, i had to step up and take him in my arms to stop him from crying.

"he is kinda upset with me" Viraj nervously chuckled as he rubbed his neck, zameer nodded still giving him a cold look.

"take care" zameer hugged me "call me anytime, I'll always be there for you" I nodded, my head still on his chest. 

"take care, i'll miss you so much" serena hugged me next and i hugged her back just rightly, she pulled apart and kissed rey's cheeks. 

"bye zini" i kissed zeniya's forehead, uncountable tears rolled down here eyes and my heart broke seeing her like that. 

"don't cry zini, I'll call you daily, I promise" darsh wiped her tears and kissed her cheek.

"let's go or we will miss our flight" I looked at viraj who was smiling softly at me, i nodded before looking one last time at my bestfriends, my family, zameer and serena had been there for me in my worst phase, when no one was there for me, they were there and they always had my back. 

"bye" my voice came out as whisper but they heard that somehow and waved a bye. 

Viraj took the bags while i carried rey in my arms and darsh walking beside me, he was still mad at me but i knew with time he would come around, he can't stay mad at his maa for a long time.

"your name sir" the check in officer asked viraj.

"yeah, Viraj Malhotra, that's my wife Ayesha Malhotra and my kids Darshit and Reyansh Malhotra" I looked up at him but said nothing, there was nothing to say at all.

"have a good journey sir and ma'am" the check-in officer said.

"you full darsh" i asked darsh who didn't even look at me. I sighed. 

"alright you can sleep" I tucked him in and kissed his forehead. Rey was already sleeping peacefully, i kissed his forehead and covered myself with the blanket, I looked outside and it was just dark, the darkness felt so familiar, it was just like the darkness that my soul cloaked with.

Only if she knew what destiny had stored in for her ..........
