CHAPTER 12It had been a long day and Tara was finally in bed but alone for Vic was on night duty on the flight deck. She was just dropping off when her spiral wrist bracelet shook and a metre tall hologram vibrated into life across the room. There were four people standing behind what appeared to be a missile.
"This had better be important," she said as she sat up and ordered her bedside lamp on. The pair were Reece and Doug while behind them she could see the two girls, Delta and Letty.
"It is," Reece looked scared as he nodded at the 3D image. "This is a nuclear missile that has homed in on us. Unless we move out right now it will reach us in fourteen minutes. We have to engage emergency warp drive to outrun it."
