The next few weeks were long, but important ones for the Dire Beavers. After some debate amongst the guild leadership, and negotiation with the claims adjuster who came to assess the damages to the guild and the village, they decided that it would be worth it to just leave the old guild hall in place and work from a set of special upgrade plans that would take into account the remaining materials that were left in the building. It was a good compromise; they would spend a couple weeks in uncomfortably tight quarters, and in return have a bigger, better guild hall.
