“Pita!” Elise cried out, running toward the now dead monster, ignoring the wide ring of toppled adventurers who had been blasted back by the after shock - including Astredian and Moltar who were only just pushing themselves up into a sitting position.
As she got close and saw the collapsed form of the druid, somewhat charred and entirely unmoving, tears sprang to hear eyes and she started whispering, “No no no!”
As she knelt down, and reached for the back of his cloak to turn him over, the druid suddenly turned over under his own power and gave an exuberant laugh. The terror that had filled her escaped like the air from a popped balloon, and she put her hands on her hips so she could glare down at the laughing druid more effectively.
