Rod and Maximo were out for a stroll around the streets of Amara.
Rod wishes to take Maximo on a tour of Amara in order to show him what kind of place he has found himself in.
"It is estimated that there are more than three hundred people living here in Amara," Rod informed Maximo.
"As I previously stated, our way of life is simple; some people go about their daily routines in order to survive this kind of Devilish invasion," Rod continued.
Maximo took a few steps back and looked around. He could see that the people were smiling as they went about their business, which included selling crops, clothes, foods, and some metalic weapons like swords and daggers.
On the surface, it appears that there is no danger in this world.
Rod explained that they were on the verge of arriving at their destination.
"Where are we going?" Maximo inquired as he looked Rod in the eyes.
Then Rod told him, "We're going to a bar here in Amara, and I know some of my friends will be there."
Maximo let out a long, deep sigh.
He simply followed Rod as he walked towards what he had stated.
When Rod and Maximo arrived in front of a bar, they went in right away without hesitation.
When they first walked in, Maximo took a quick look around the room.
There are many men, as well as some women, who continue to consume alcoholic beverages at this time.
Because of the laughter and chit-chatter of the drinkers, it is a noisy environment.
" Come with me, and I'll introduce you to some of my friends, " Rod told Maximo.
They made their way over to the three gentlemen who were enjoying themselves while drinking and chatting. They were completely unaware of Rod and Maximo's arrival.
"You haven't changed a bit, have you? Even this time, you're here drowning yourself in liquors!" Rod exclaimed to the trio.
The men all turned to look at him.
"It's been a long time, Rod! How was your trip? When did you return?" a man inquired of Rod. "You look different from before, huh!" the man continued.
Rod responded to the man's question by saying, "I returned yesterday."
His response was amusing: "I had a good trip, but I didn't come away with anything."
Let's just have a drink and forget about it, said the other man. "Don't be sad. Don't think about it."
"Wait, who is this boy?" the man in the middle of the room inquired, pointing to Maximo with his finger.
Maximo gave them a friendly smile.
In the process of looking, Rod leaned in to place his arm on the shoulders of Maximo.
"His name is Max, and he's new here, so I'm taking him on a tour of Amara," Rod explained when introducing Maximo to the group.
In the course of introducing the three men to him, Rod said, "They're my friends, Max."
"Hi, my name is Jake," the man in the middle introduced himself, raising his left hand in greeting.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Jake," Maximo said, a smile on his face and a hand extended to Jake.
"Alex," said the man to Jake's right as he made his introduction.
The person to Jake's left, who identified himself as "Ali," introduced himself next.
He approached Rod's friends one by one and shook their hands.
Inviting Maximo and Rod, Jake exclaimed, "Come, let's drink!"
They exchanged friendly smiles with Jake.
When Rod and Maximo approached them, they immediately began to drink.
Maximo remained deafeningly quiet as his companions drank together.
"I was under the impression you were going to Capital to apply to be a Majar in a Group of Majar?" Jake inquired of Rod.
"That was my plan, Jake! I'm going there next month, and I really wish I had the good fortune to be chosen by the Captains," Rod responded when Jake inquired.
"I'm confident that you'll be chosen, Rod, because you're the only one in Amara who has three red bars Armas!" Alex exclaimed to Rod.
"Hopefully, Alex. If I am accepted into the group, I will devote my time and energy to Amara," Rod stated with determination.
"You're aware that Amara is one of the tiniest villages in Nara," Rod continued.
"Fortunately, there was a Majar who walked here and fought the devils; otherwise, we would have been overrun by the Devils," he said at the end of the speech.
Because of what he had overheard, Maximo was unable to keep his mouth shut while listening to their conversation.
When Maximo asked them, "Don't you all have Armas?" they replied, "Why don't you all use your Armas to fight the Devils?"
When Maximo asked if they had Armas, Rod responded, "Yes, we do, but we were using our Armas for daily activities, Max. No one can fight the Devils because the Armas of the majority of people here is just one blue Bar," Rod explained.
"Aren't you aware that your Armas Bar increases when you train? When you've performed techniques or something? Why aren't you doing it?" Maximo inquired.
"You know, Max, here in Amara, no one has the ability to fight. We're used to farming that we're good at," Alex replied.
Another point is that many Amara citizens have attempted to enter the Capital in order to be appointed as a Majar, but not a single one has succeeded because, according to their beliefs, we, the Amara people are weak and incapable of fighting the Devils. "And one more point is that many Amara citizens have attempted to enter the Capital in order to be appointed as a Majar, but not even one has succeeded," Jake continued.
Rod is the only one who aspires to become a member of the Amara Majars Groups and, as a result, he travels to gain combat experience, according to Ali.
Then Jake said to Rod, "By the way, Rod, our Leader, has been waiting for you for quite some time! It appears that he is about to tell you something," he added.
It occurred to Rod that perhaps he had an application form for the position of Majar already in his possession.
"Perhaps, so you should go see him right away!" Jake exclaimed at him.
Rod rose to his feet and said, "All right, I should go. I have an appointment with the Leader." Rod then waved goodbye to the group.
"I'll be there, Rod," Maximo informed him.
As Rod responded to Maximo, "Of course, Max. I also need to introduce you to the Leader," Rod said.
"Let's just meet up whenever we get the chance, and have a good time drinking, guys!" Rod said.
"Yeah, that's right! Best of luck to you, my friend!"
When Rod and Maximo exited the bar, they both proceeded to the location where the Amara Leader was waiting.
"Can you tell me who is the leader here, Amara?" Maximo inquired of Rod.
"His name is Ramon, and he is the leader of our group here in Amara," Rod responded.
His comments were followed by, "He has access to the Capital, which is what he tells all of the people of Amara."
Because it wasn't too far, Maximo and Rod were able to arrive almost immediately.
They went into a building and walked into a room to discuss the situation.
When they arrived in the room, Rod knocked on the door three times before letting them in.
When someone opened the door, they walked in with a smile on their face.
When they arrived, they noticed a man standing in front of him with papers in his hands.
"Good afternoon, Ramon," Rod said to the man as he approached him.
The man came to a complete halt in his work.
The moment he saw Rod, he raised his head and smiled at him.
The invitation came from Ramon: "You're here, Rod. Come closer, and we'll talk about it."
Ramon was approached by Rod and Maximo. They took their seats in front of him.
"Jake has indicated that you need to speak with me," Rod inquired.
Rod received a piece of paper from Ramon, which he had taken from his drawer.
Rod took a look at and read the paper that Ramon had given him.
"That's the application form for the selection to be held next month to be Majar, Rod. You need to fill out that application so that I can pass it on to the Capital," Ramon explained to Rod. "That's the application form for the selection to be held next month to be Majar, Rod."
"Great! Hold on a sec, I'll fill it up now!"
Ramon came face to face with Maximo. He took a closer look at Maximo and realized that he didn't know who he was.
"Who is this young man, Rod? I'm not familiar with him," Ramon said, looking at Maximo with a puzzled expression.
"I'm sorry, Ramon, but I forgot to introduce you to my friend," Rod said, apologizing for his oversight.
"His name is Max, and he's stranded here in Amara," Rod explained when introducing Maximo.
Ramon received a friendly smile from Maximo.
As Rod continued, "According to him, he is a traveler from Earth to another world."
Ramon's pupils dilate as a result of what Rod has said.
"Is he the one they're talking about? Is he from another world?" Ramon wondered.
Initially, Rod thought it was Ramon, but he turned out to be an ordinary man without any Armas. "I'm not convinced he is," Rod said after looking at him again.
Maximo was perplexed by what he had heard as a result of what he had heard.
"Can you tell me what you're talking about with 'The One?'" Maximo inquired.
Rod bowed his head to Maximo and said, "Here in Chronia, there is a prophecy," Rod responded to Maximo's question.
It was Roman who explained that according to the prophecy, "Someone will appear in the midst of the Devil's invasion, and he will defeat all of the Devils!"
"I'm positively not the one you're referring to!" Maximo exclaimed to them in response.
We don't know what to make of it, Max. "Didn't you say earlier that the body you're using right now isn't yours?" Rod inquired of Maximo.
"Perhaps that body of yours is the body that will save us from the Devils, isn't it?" Rod speculated after he had finished speaking.
"Can you tell me what you mean by that, Rod?" Ramon inquired, astonished.
"He stated a while ago that his body does not belong to him, so I reasoned that it might belong to the man who will defeat all of the Devils of the highest level," Rod responded.
"But he doesn't have Armas, Rod," Ramon pointed out to Maximo, "so how does he become The One?"
You have three red bars of Armas on your body, Ramon, so you should be able to feel the mana in his body, Rod told him.
Ramon locked his gaze on Maximo. Even though Rod recognizes that he has a strange attraction to Maximo, Rod remains wary of the relationship.
"We need to confirm that, Rod, and we need to see his Armas!" Ramon exclaimed to him as he approached him.
However, Rod informed him that they did not know how old he was.
In response to what Rod had said, Ramon shook his head.
"Can you tell me what you were doing on Earth at the time, Max?" Ramon asked.
"I'm a scientist," Maximo responded when asked his profession.
"Scientists? What are you talking about?" Ramon exclaimed, taken aback.
When I lived in my world, I invented machines and inventions, the most recent of which was a Teleportation Machine, which is the reason why I'm here, because my invention was not successful," Maximo explained to Ramon.
"So, what are your plans for the rest of the day?"
"I'm trying to figure out how I can get back to my world," Maximo replied.
The question Ramon posed was, "What if there is no way for you to return to your world?"
"If this is my destiny, I will embrace it!" "If this is my destiny, I will embrace it!"
