There was a look that should never be seen in another person’s eyes, Kelly thought. Especially a person she didn’t particularly trust or like for that matter. Suzy looked at her as though she was a maggot the girl had just found in her favorite dessert. Kelly blinked and sat back in her chair, creating as much distance away from Suzy as was possible without being too obvious about it. She suddenly regretted coming to the library. Since it was still class time, the library was almost deserted. The only other students she had seen were in the lower floor. Kelly was on the second floor. There was one more floor above her, but she doubted there was anyone up there. She gave Suzy a studying stare. She didn’t know the girl very well; she could only hope Suzy was not some psychopath.
