Kelly paced her room as she waited for Callum to call. The five steps from one wall to the other did very little to calm her. With every passing second the anxiety in her gut tightened further. She had a feeling something was wrong.
She didn’t understand why she was so sure of this, so she didn’t call Callum’s number again and try to explain it to Oscar. The guy would probably think she was just a clingy girlfriend or superstitious.
When midnight came and went with no call from Callum, Kelly decided to try and get some sleep. She closed her eyes but her mind would not settle down. When she finally fell into a light doze, a terrifying dream woke her and she found herself in a pool of cold sweat.
