3| Godricks day

1588 Words
Godricks days usually consisted of him waking up, sending some kind of instruction to his demon lover and then wandering over to the Black Diamond–the bar that the crew he worked for operated from. Prior to meeting her, he had just had a little extra sleep each morning. He lived within walking distance, so he walked. He was nineteen, sitting at six foot. He kept himself in shape, but really he was still at that age where his body wanted to be like this. He wasn’t sure how much of his demon heritage would help him with that. He noticed quickly most were pretty svelte, depending on the type of demon they were–though he had been deceived by glamours at first–but now he knew how to spot them he always would. That seemed to be part of his demon side. He just could tell what kind of being someone was. He just needed to know the name of it as knowing that wasn't intuitive. He'd grown up knowing there were others out there–that he wasn't the same as those around him in human society. His face was broad framed by dark hair, with wide high cheekbones, his jawline sharp. He was pretty in a rough way. He wasn’t who you take home to the parents. Wearing what he always wore–black jeans and a plain black t-shirt with a leather jacket over top, he squinted into the late morning sun–the glare pin pricking his pupils, his blue eyes intense as his pupils retreated from the light. His one-up boss was already there when he arrived. “Tyler,” he greeted as he took a seat as the first one here from their crew. “How's things, Godrick?” He just shrugged. He wasn’t for much small talk. Godrick just wanted to do his job, get paid and be left alone. Since he left home years earlier he had tried to find a place in his newfound heritage–so far it didn’t seem many demons ran legitimate businesses. In fact, it didn’t seem much of a culture in his opinion. Most demons he had met had never even been to their home world–like him, there were a lot of half human half demons. The few pure-bloods he’d met weren’t really the type to reminisce about the homeland. He only knew that it was a shithole that demons fled from the first chance they got. It had been a sad day to hear that, he had hoped to find a place he felt at home, and this world was not it. Tyler made a face at his non-verbal response and started playing on his phone. Godrick took the opportunity to open his own. It was only a few more days until he would see her again. He had told her he was going to tie her up and hadn’t said anything else. He’d been looking up knots and practising–if that was what she liked he was happy to learn it for her. He had also bought her a gift–well it was for him too and he was excited to give it a whirl. He’d bought some other things too. He thought he may have gone overboard, but everything had seemed interesting and in line with what she said she liked. He was confident there would be other opportunities to use them. His friend, Grim, slapped him on the shoulder as he arrived. Godrick quickly locked his phone but he got the feeling Grim had seen the images he had been looking at. They were just knot diagrams so he didn’t think much of it. Grim was similar in colouring as Godrick but he was shorter and stockier. He had a soft face, quick to smile. It still blew Godricks mind that demons weren’t all hell fiends from the stories he’d heard growing up. Not that it was anything like in the bible. Just threads of similarities. In that they were nasty, but he’d met just as nasty if not nastier humans. Most looked human. There was the occasional more the typical demon, but that was infrequent and they always were in a glamour when in public. Grims father was one of the higher-ups'. Godrick had been surprised when he found Grim was a demon. They’d met in high school, Grim taking him under his wing when Godrick started to go so far off the rails when he learnt what he was–Grim having sensed it already as he was full-blooded and grew up with the knowledge. Godrick had always sensed something in others but hadn't known what it was. Grim was the one to explain it all to Godrick. It wasn’t long before the four other guys that Tyler ran arrived and he could get down to business–Krig was the only one that Grim and he knocked around with, the rest treating them with contempt at the basic work the two of them did. Grim and Godrick just had some errands to run, pick up cash, and drop off contraband. The other guys got the heavier stuff, a list of legs to be broken, local businesses to shake down. The four were partnered up with one of the jobs, all four requiring to work together. Neither Grim nor Godrick were ambitious–both happy to continue with the basic jobs. Grim himself let his many brothers and family members take the burden and risks if they wanted to become hard men. Grim and Godrick started to chat just between the two of them while the other four discussed their plans. “Later guys,” Krig called as he left with his partner for the day, Callan. “Have fun…” Grim returned. He turned to Godrick and made a face. “I don’t know why I said that,” making Godrick chuckle. Grim drove as usual so Godrick took the opportunity to message his pet. Godrick: What are you doing? Sometimes she took a while to respond, but today she responded straight away. DL: Thinking of you, sir. He smiled wryly. Godrick: What are you really doing? DL: Dress shopping. He blinked. Okay, that was pretty normal. He had to keep reminding himself she wasn’t sitting around waiting for him–it was hard when she was so quick to supplicate to him. A sudden smile lifted the further of his mouth as he typed. Godrick: Picture or it never happened. ~*~ Samantha was trying on the twentieth dress when Godricks message came in. His request for pictures had her heart pumping. Tracy was talking almost non-stop in the dressing room next to hers. “Oh my god, Samantha, did I tell you about Victoria?” “Uh. No…” Samantha had a strappy black dress she was trying to find a way into. It was way too small around her hips. She pinched the fabric and fought to swivel it in place around her hips. “She just found out she is the mate of an unranked omega!” Samantha winced at her volume. “Take it easy,” she warned. They were in a human store. “Sorry…” Tracy mumbled. “What dress are you trying on?” “The black one.” She found she could hardly separate her legs in it. Who was this made for? She asked silently. Catching her reflection in the mirror, she saw how the bands of fabric cut into her flesh in an appealing way. It was even open at various points as the crossing of the fabric parted and had a cut out at the midriff in both the front and the back. It squashed and pushed her boobs up in the neckline causing an extreme cleavage. Okay, maybe it's supposed to look like this… “Can I see?” “Nah, it’s not working.” She licked her lips and took a couple of pictures. Making quick work, she quickly cropped them so you couldn’t see her face and sent them to him. She was still fighting to get out of the thing when his response came through. Godrick: f**k. More. She bit her grin of satisfaction at his response. There were only a couple more dresses to try on, and they were all boring. “Hey,” she called over the wall to Tracy. “Can I try that red dress on?” Tracy squealed. “Yes, but you have to show me,” she demanded as she slung it over. Samantha wiggled into this one a lot easier. The fabric was stretchier and runched across her hips. It hugged her nicely, creating a nice shelf for her petite breasts, with the skirt coming just above her knees. It looked great on her, but it wouldn’t be the right follow-up from the black dress. She pushed items out of the way of the mirror's reflection and hiked the skirt up so it just covered her pubis mound. She lifted her breasts in it a little higher and then crouched on the ground. Thinking a second longer, she slipped her underwear off and repositioned herself. There was enough shadow between her legs to obscure her s*x, but it was obvious she wasn’t wearing anything. She took the photo and then cropped it as before. She didn't try to stop the grin as his reply landed. Godrick: I don’t know if I can wait until Sunday… ~*~
