Chapter One:- Chasing my first love

2001 Words
We ran through the forest creating a loud sound. Our four feet hit against the hard ground heavily, digging up dark mud, allowing it to fly within the air. And our furry body smashes into the small trees within our way; breaking them all down. Soon we finally stopped at a small river, within the forest, breathing heavily. I stood behind the seven wolves; who I ordered to come along with me on a mission, in search of my runaway first love, Paisley White. “Go on drink,” I ordered them. I watched them all lowered their head within the river and drank thirstily. I had been very hard on them lately, commanding them to help me search for her. I had to find her, knowing the reason why she had left me. It hurts every time I think about it. I know no matter where she was, she is hurting inside not being able to bear, not being my mate, spiritually. I didn't care that she was. I loved her, nor was I interested in finding my mate. I wanted Paisley only and no one else. As I continue to stand behind my pack members, I looked within the sky and saw that the place will begin to lose it's light very soon. The whole day my men and I had been looking for Paisley. But still, we didn't find her. It's been seven years now I had been searching for her. But was unsuccessful in every attempt I had made to find her. “Sir,” one of me men called me bringing my attention to him. “What do you want?” I asked him angrily. I saw the other push themselves backward, scared as I answered him. They knew I was not someone to mess with. I was deadly and f*****g dangerous and would kill you right away if you ever offended me in any way. I stared at him, waiting impatiently to see what he wanted. But he only glared at me, not saying anything at all. I walked up towards him; while the others ran away from him. Knowing what was about to happen. He stood within his dark brown wolf form; while his four feet trembled, nervously. “What do you want?” I again asked him angrily. “I'm sorry, I called you sir,” he apologized, terrified of me, and ran over to the others. I did know what he wanted, but was too scared to ask me. I looked at them all as they stood far away from me, cowardly. Tired and wanting to go home. I wasn't interested in returning to Wereville now. I wanted Paisley and there were two places I didn't go to as yet in search of her. They were St. Nelson and Chester Lake. I was dying inside to find her. But the thought of going to St. Nelson now sickens me. I hated the leader of the Cloud pack and too didn't want to visit my brother alpha Aaron Payne just to seek Paisley, knowing I haven't seen him nor spoke to him within seven-year, which is quite bad being related. “Let's go,” I ordered my men, ready to run to St. Nelson. As I take off I took a quick look behind me and saw them, barely keeping up with me. I had no choice but to stop. How could I allow these weary wolves to accompany me on my Journey? They would only slow me down. As they try to catch up with me, I stopped them before they got near me. “Go home, I instructed him. I will call the others to accompany me,” I informed them. They all obeyed me and went off, back to Wereville. “Awoo...,” I howled loudly as I raised my head up within the sky; calling two of my pack members. “Awooo...,” I heard one of them returned my howl and then the other. I again howled; informing them where they should meet me; while I ran off quickly to St. Nelson. Praying that she is there. As I ran, exiting the forest. I thought non-stop about seeing her beautiful green eyes and again caressing her soft, juicy lips. Hmm...,” I moaned, longing to see her. Finally, I was within St. Nelson. The land of the Cloud pack or the land of the thieving bitches I should say. Their ancestors had claimed so many lands as there's, in stealing them. They, too, tried to claim Wereville as their own, but my ancestors beat them to it. Seeing a large land that seems good to them, was their ways of saying it now belongs to them. They are great in number and too was powerful, and so they took advantage of it in chasing people off their own lands. I clench my teeth in anger as I walked among there land that they stole. I saw a line filled with clothes. I looked and smelled to see if anyone was there, but there wasn't. I hurriedly took off a khaki pants from the line and a white T-shirt that seems new. I quickly shifted into my human form; allowing my short, soft, dark hair to fall with my face. I brush it backwards away from my face and put on the clothes. They fit very well. Not having any shoes, I had no choice but to walk barefooted. As I walked along their road I started seeing people going there ways and at the side of the street selling and purchasing goods. Clueless of where to start, I went over to an old gray hair woman at the bank of the road, selling hot pepper shrimp. “Hello, I greeted her, do you know anyone here by the name of Paisley White?” I inquired her, with my rough voice. “No,” she answered me. I sigh heavily, moving away from her; knowing I will never find her like this. It was hopeless doing so and to a waste of time. Suddenly, I recollected Chase. He is the second-hand man of the pack here. I had saved him once from being killed by a pack of angry werewolves, and he promised that he will help me whenever I needed him. Now was the right time in receiving his help, but first I had to find him and there could only be one place where he was right now and that was where alpha Claus was. Leader of the Cloud pack, my father's greatest enemy, and too my brother's. As I walked towards the leader's house. The road along the way had started to become crowded. I then pick up a scent, realizing that I was being followed and it wasn't one person but about six men. I quickly turned left and away from the crowd, while they all continue to follow me. I wasn't running from them, I wanted to be alone with them away from the crowd in showing them I was someone not to mess with. Soon I was away from the crowd; ready to Attack whosoever wanted to dear challenge me. I saw five men, approached me. They look strong and prepare for any war that should occur. “Grrrr..,” I growled at them, angrily. As they started to ran towards me. I, too, got closer towards them prepared to s***h their f*****g throats with my bear hand and my sharp teeth if I have to. “Wait!” I heard someone stopped them. His voice sounded quite familiar. The five men surrounded me lowered their guards, obeying the voice who had commanded them to. I watched cautiously still trying to figure out who the person was until I saw the sixth person who was following me as well. I have no idea why I didn't pick up his scent all along. “Good evening, alpha Liam, Chase greeted me,” as he approached me. Chase had lowly cut white hair. He was 6 feet and 4 inches. I was much taller than him. He was well-built and looked very strong. Probably that's why he is the second-hand man of their pack. We did a fist bump as we now both stood face to face; greeting each other. “What brought you to the land of St. Nelson?” he inquired me. “It's to see you, I answered him. I want you to help me with something,” I informed him. He turned to his pack members and instructed them all to leave. “I'm always happy to return a favor to a dear friend, he said. Now what can I do to help you?” he inquired me again. “Have you ever seen a beautiful, red hair, green eye lady here, name, Paisley White?” I inquired him. “Yes,” he inquired me. I felt my heart race rapidly within my chest; hearing she was here. “Where is she now?” I again inquired him impatiently. “At alpha Claus house,” he told me. “Carry me to her now,” I commanded him to. We ran towards Claus's house until we were near his large house painted in cream. Soon we were at the front door of his house. Chase knocked on the door and there I a young, short hair black hair lady open the door. She appeared to be one of the workers here on the way she was dressed. She was attired in a long brown dress and had an empty silver tray in her hand, that seems as if she had just delivered supper to the person she works under. “We are here to see the alpha,” Chase told her. She took us in and instructed us to wait within the living room, while she ran off to get her leader. As we both sat within the living room. I saw alpha Claus came in. He was an elder alpha within his 50s, but still, he looked strong. “How can I help the great Alpha Payne, son?” he inquired me. “I'm here to see Paisley” I got straight to business. I wasn't a fan of him. My wolf couldn't stand him, much less his scent. “She left here a week ago,” he informed me. Hearing him said that has really hit me hard. I thought my search for her was now over, but it wasn't. I, too, believe Claus words, after all, what would he gain in lying to me. He was a liar and thief, but not that type of liar. “We have a guest” I heard a female voice. Soon she was within the living room. Her beauty was unlike any other beauty I've seen. She was up within her age, but, still, you could see within her face that she was one heck of a catch at a younger age. Her hair was as white as the clouds and went down to her feet. Her eyes were as blue as the ocean. “It's only the Dark shadow pack passing by” her mate, alpha Claus informed her, while he wraps his hands around her kissing her on the cheek. A beauty like her would surely be a Luna, I thought. “He's searching for Paisley,” he instructed her. “Oh.., she's no longer here, she informed me. She helped me made some herbal ointment for my back. I should have known she was running from someone, she informed me. I could see the pain within her eyes, that something strong was bothering her,” she again informed me. Hearing her said that pains my heart; knowing that my baby is hurting. I had to find her now. “Thank you, I will be leaving now,” I informed them. “Don't worry you'll find her just like we will soon with our daughter, Snow” she said as I went off. Chase decided to see me off and followed me. As we both went off. I was curious as to what happens to Claus's daughter and inquired him. “She was kidnapped from them from a baby,” she told me. I wanted to say I was sorry, but I wasn't. They deserved it and it too was a curse brought upon them, by themselves by the moon goddess for stealing people's land. I looked at Chase and saw sadness on his face. “She would be 18, he said and too my mate.” I felt it for him; knowing how it feels to not have the person who you truly love no longer by your side. Finally, I was leaving their land and unto Chester Lake, the land of the moon pack to find Paisley and too meet my brother, alpha Aaron. I haven't seen him for two years now.
