Chapter 20 - Heart Falls
Diana laid on the floor of the grimy cell in tears. It was her welcome address from the people she came to meet in the cell.
They were four inmates. She felt so cold and deserted but the painful empty feeling in her heart was more painful and heartbreaking than that.
Everything that Myles said sounded so real. He promised to love and to cherish her. He even defied his parents. Everything felt so damn real.
His kisses, his smile, his words. Not knowing everything was a lie.
She thought he was different from the other men but he wasn't.
