Callie and Levie wrapped their arms around me, leading me away from the gruesome scene inside the empty warehouse. Charlie had just arrived outside, looking as shocked as I felt. He told us that Kael had called him and urged him to come fetch us.
I couldn't believe that Kael had Charlie's number, but right now I was just grateful for any help we could get.
"Oh my god, what happened to you?" Charlie exclaimed, his eyes wide with horror as he took in the trail of blood that followed us.
