Logan's POV
The pain was finally starting to subside from my chest. I had slid down the wall and was sitting on the floor trying to catch my breath.
"Did she just reject us?"
"I think so," Levi said.
"That's not possible. She's just an omega, she doesn't have that kind of power."
"We should go talk to her now." He was right. I managed to get myself to my feet and started making my way to my apartment. I noticed the guard was no longer outside the door.
"That doesn't make any sense. Why is the guard gone?" Levi asked me.
"I don't know." I burst through the door and noticed I didn't smell her scent that strongly.
