My Alpha ceremony was now complete, and this pack was mine to command. I had played along with my father's game to insure he gave me the title as we discussed when we discussed. I had them do the ceremony in the morning the day after Julia ran away so I would be able to send warriors into the woods to see if they could track where she went. Getting them out there as soon as possible was vital so the trail would be fresh.
We didn't have the big ta-do like was originally planned, just my father passing the title to me with Ian and Tyler present. I convinced him it would look in poor taste to have all the Alpha's, Beta's, and Luna's from the neighboring pack without the Lycan King present, and with our own Beta sitting in the dungeons.
