Later that evening Duncan orders that no one goes into the woods until he tells them otherwise. He did not want anyone to know that DJ can shift. Even if they are members of his pack. He will not put his pup in any danger. Because he has never heard of a pup shifting as young as his son. If word gets around others besides Burt would come after him.
He and DJ went for a walk into the woods. Once they were out of sight. Duncan looks at his son, smiling shaking his head. "Shift DJ let Prince come out to play. Daddy and Theodulf want to run with you."
DJ looks up at his father as he shifts. Duncan hears the sounds of his son's little bones cracking as he shifts. After he shifts into Prince he looks up at his father wagging his tail.
"I will never get used to this" Duncan said smiling
