I slept peacefully that night with caleb's little hand wound around my neck and his legs flung freely on my waist while Marissa's hands softly placed over my chest. I cherished these beautiful moments with my children. I felt miserable thinking that I had lost three amazing years of their life and the sense of hatred increased tenfold every time for the person responsible for it. Early that morning I heard soft whispers and shuffling around me, followed by the feel of something softly brushing my lips. I was so pleasantly drowsily that I ignored it with a soft groan and turned on to my stomach.
