**Amyra**
Josh drops me at the entrance of Milly's house.
I'll call him inside, but he says "Some other time".
As I enter, my friends look at me confused.
Without speaking I rush to the room and close the door behind me not wanting to explain anything.
I drop on the bed whining.
After sometime...I hear a knock on the door.
"Amy open the door please," Josie says.
"I'm in no mood to talk" I reply.
"Ok, we won't push. Just open the door" she says.
I move and open it.
When my friends surround me, I can't control, I spill everything and sob hugging them.
My phone buzzes on the bed, I pick up to see dad calling.
I answer him and say that I won't be there for my birthday.
He asks the reason, I briefly tell him that something has come up.
After hanging up I see a text from Alex asking me to meet tomorrow at 10 at Sony World.
And he states that he wants me to meet his mother.
I reply to him saying "Ok".

**Aaron**
As I drive, I call Josh.
"Hey man," he says
"Where are you?"
"I dropped Amyra and returning".
"Answer my question, Josh"
"I'm sorry... crossed the Stonevale bridge," he says
I regret yelling at him.
"How is she?"
"I don't think she is fine"
"I tried to distract her by making silly jokes, and we both laughed," he says, and a pang of jealousy flashed across my heart.
Who is he to make my mate laugh?
But he was distracting her.
How can I think about Josh like that?
"Stay there, I'm coming," I say, after seconds I hear the brakes screeching over the phone.
"Ok Boss" he replies.
We both meet at the interjection and I ask Josh to hop in my car.
we drive and reach her friend's house.
When Milly opens the door.
I go straight to Amyra's room and knock the door.
"Guys, I have already told you. I don't want to talk" She says.
"Amyra..." I call out.
She doesn't talk.
"I want to talk to you... please open the door," I say.
I won't get any answer, rubbing fingers on my forehead I try again.
"I think you need to give her time" Josh whispers.
I glare at him.
"Josh, ask your friend to leave," she says.
Oh! this she answered. I can play too.
Josh gives an apologetic smile.
"I won't leave until I talk to you Amyra".
"Whatever Jenny spoke, was not true...at least not completely".
"Open the door, I explain to you"
"Don't act childish" I say.
"Josh, take your friend out of the house, right now," she says.
Josh shook his head.
"Amyra, once come out and talk to him and we will be out," Josh says to her.
"I said I don't want to talk to anybody, don't you get that? I don't want to listen to your personal stories. Just leave me alone" she yells at us.
"Amyra, Jenny and I are not mates, we didn't do anything," I say.
"Didn't you ask her to be her mate?" she asks.
"There is more to that," I say holding my hand on the door.
"Did you asked her or not?" she asks.
"You are not understanding, you are reading between the lines".
"Yes or No?"
"If you don't listen to me, then you will assume and think that it is right and you will be hurt and me too," I say.
"Yes or No?" she repeats.
"Yes," I say.
"Did you kiss her?"
"Amyra..."
"Just tell me..."
"Yes...I kissed her" I say cursing myself.
"That's it!...you can leave now and I don't want to see you again. Goodbye," she says.
She breaks my heart in an instant, just like breaking a twig.
Fuck! was it so easy?
"Amyra...this is not right! without allowing me to explain, you are concluding things".
She doesn't answer.
We stay there for some more time, but I won't get any answer.
Her silence makes my heart shatter. Why I'm feeling so much pain?
Upon failing to convince her, we both leave.
Thoughts come rushing back to me from our first meet till today.
Everything was happening so perfectly and we both enjoyed so much in the garden until Jenny showed up.
"Josh, I want to have drinks," I say
Josh nods and stops by a bar and orders the drinks as we enter.
"I'm feeling pain here," I say pointing at my heart.
I take a sip of my scotch.
"Should I call the Doc?" he asks shocked.
"Will she reject me?" I ask as I hold my palms on my face.
"No...she is just hurt" he replies giving me a small smile.
"You know she can't reject until she has her wolf," he says.
"Not helping" I reply to him.
"But see the positive part here, she is hurt because she loves you," he says glancing at me.
