Chapter 1 : New place

I woke up with a terrifying feeling, I was dreaming. What a f*****g dream was that? Only 20 days left for our 18th birthday. I need to do something quickly, otherwise, there will be consequences.

Why..why us Goddess?

How do I reveal the truth to her?

How will I convince her?

She would think that I am lying to her.

Why will she believe me?

Why will she accept me as her twin brother?

I looked at the ceiling, moon goddess if you are watching us, please help me.

I pray internally.

Our family is the one which is first blessed by the moon goddess, and the twins especially a boy and a girl who takes the birth in this family will have their wolf since their birthtime they don't have to wait till 18yrs to shift and they will be having the memories of their past life.

I don't know whether it’s a blessing or a curse I remember everything well almost and my wolf Mathew is with me.

But what about her?

I can't allow this dream to come true.

I need to protect her, we are in danger.

I was in the forest looking around, I panic when I hear a loud howl "AAAAAOOOOOOOO", I slowly turn my head to see a wolf right behind me...I stared at it, it had a snow-white fur and purple eyes staring back at me...I turned to my heels and started running for life, but the wolf jumped in front of me and stood.

"Don't run" a female voice came from that wolf, wait..is the wolf speaking? I froze.

"Don't be afraid Amyra, I won't harm you", she said.

I didn't know what to do, I surveyed the small area near me. I saw a stick, slowly sliding it by my legs I picked it up and showed it holding in front of me. Ready to attack if it pounces on me.

"I’m Marah", she said completely ignoring my stance.

"I know you, but you don't know me".

"I am in you", she said.

Before I could say something she had disappeared.

“Princess...Princess...” Dad was patting my cheek, I woke up gasping for air. I looked around...panting.

“Dad...what happened?” I ask

“Princess you screamed, was it dream again?” he asked.

I nodded.

What’s with the wolves why they are in my dreams? Recently, I haven’t even watched the National Geographic channel or any movies on them.

I ran my hands over my face, I was sweating.

“Don’t worry, everything will be alright!” he says

“Freshen up and come down”.

I nod again.

“I need Coffee” I announce heading to the kitchen.

“I have prepared already” he replies.

“Something is wrong with me, Dad. You know that wolf was chasing me again!” I tell him sitting across him on the breakfast bar.

“It's nothing Princess. You are thinking too much.” He says

No, I know. This is not the first time I am dreaming about it. But I had not told Dad that I was getting these dreams occasionally for almost 2 years now, but now I am having these dreams almost every day. This isn’t normal.

“Dad, Milly has planned for a week trip to WoodsVale, for her mother’s wedding,” I said.

“I know princess, she had called me to ask the permission to take you.” He replies placing a plate of toasted bread butter, bacon, and eggs in front of me. “I think you need to go. But, I need updates daily without fail.”

“Oh Dad, Done!” I declare hugging him back. “I have 2 hours to pack my things, So I’ll rush now,” I said turning on my heels.

As I was packing, I hear a voice in my head saying this trip will change our life.

We were in the jeep, all four of us. Milly was driving, I was in the co-driver seat. Josie and Michelle were on back seats. With the loud Ed Sheeran songs playing in the background, we headed to the unknown place, I had never been before.

"So what's this place like?" I asked glancing at Milly who took a few Pringles from Michelle who was chewing them making a loud sound.

"Oh, you'll like the place. It's kind of your place," she replies with a small smile.

I turn to face the window “And what does that mean” I ask her.

“It’s full of forest, greenery...you like that right?” she asks.

"Girls, one more thing..there is a fair tomorrow in the city center. We can go shopping," Milly said with a huge grin on her face.

"Fair?? and shopping?" asked Josie rolling her eyes.

"Oh yeah! you can find everything under the sun there," she said steadying her eyes on the road.

"We are almost there," Milly announced and after few minutes she pulled the car into the parking.

It almost took 9 hours to reach our destined place.

Milly threw her hands to hug her mother and her step dad-to-be. We all hugged them and entered the house.
