Waking up when enough sunlight seeped in through the half shut blinds of the room, I found the bed next to me empty. I vividly remembered Niklaus and I having to share the same bed, but I'd fallen asleep much before he could to bed. Getting out of the covers also gave me the quick realisation that I had fallen asleep in clothes of last night, and so the first time I did after freshening up was immediately shower.
It was lunch time when I got dressed in a fresh pair of clothes- another oversized sweatshirt with their matching set fresh pair of sweatpants, keeping my hair behind my back.
I still wondered where Niklaus was but not for too long. He was probably downstairs for lunch. It had just been a couple hours since we slept, but we'd missed breakfast.
