It was the crack of dawn when I made my way downstairs despite the darkness in Niklaus' huge house after washing my face. There was no way I was going to find any rest or sleep in that room or bed after the nightmare I had just had.
My initial reason of coming downstairs was to maybe go for a walk in the backyard, but I didn't think that was happening as I curled up in one corner of the long couch of the living room.
