The Search *** Sebastian is spitting fire. Sitting at the long black sofa is a lone figure void of any emotion but rage. The aura he emits made him unapproachable yet regal. He was like a king sitting on his throne- ready to punish anyone who will commit even the smallest mistake. His eyes are cold and dark like an endless abyss that is ready to devour you whole and be left with nothing. Sebastian is both like a king and a god to anyone who sees him, but for those who knew him well he is a demon. Always ready to spill blood and to destroy those who go against his way. Sebastian directed his gaze at the man kneeling in front of him. His limbs are trembling as he reorganize his thoughts and reported his own discovery. "What?" Low and velvety, the shaking man can't predict the extent of menace in his voice. "A... A kid. The kid told me a man took her." He had searched far and wide, high and low, and all around the world just to look for her wife. The results would always be the same: No one saw her. Not even a strand of her hair or the tip of her fingers. It's been two weeks since he last saw the remnants of the burning house, but not the woman who holds his heart. That night when he came, he did not found her. Not even a single trace of her. It was devastating to the point that he wanted to burn the city to ashes. And now, he would tell him that a man took his wife! "And who the hell is this man?" "It was dark. The kid does not remember the face anymore." Sebastian closed his eyes to try to calm his self down. "Then let the kid look all of the pictures of every man in this city! And search every clubs and underground operations!" "Ah clubs?" Confused, the man asked again. "Got a problem with that?" Sebastian coldly asked back, "My wife is too beautiful. What if they tried to sell her?! Go! Now!" The man hurriedly left the room and he was left in his own thoughts. The more he think, the gloomier he gets, the more coldness surrounds him. Someone has the nerves to steal his precious wife away from him and that person should be ready anytime soon, lest he finds him- 'cause Sebastian's not gonna give mercy to anyone who dares to touch his wife. It seems that he has been too idle lately that others think they can make trouble for him. Directing his gaze at the gun that's been on the table, he stretched an arm to reach for it. The gun is both cold and hard in his palm, just exactly the way he remembered it. "Zen," he called, his voice sending cold shivers at the man guarding outside the room. "Boss." Zen entered. "Do you have any orders?" "Go look for the O'hara family. There's a possibility that they were involved in this." "I understand. Should I also check the Keller's?" Sebastian frowned. Jackson Keller is his wife's ex-fiance. That guy, might be rich and influential, but, "For someons like him whose brain is barely working, I doubt he's the one who did it. Still, I'll visit him personally tomorrow." "Alright, I'll arrange for the bodyguards to go with you." After Zen left for his mission, the room was back to its cold silence. It was suffocating and uncomfortable, but for Sebastian who was raised and mold in this kind of environment, it was nothing to him. All he cared right now is finding his wife and the man responsible for it. "Mori O'hara, just you wait. I'll find you wherever you are." He mumbled, his eyes drooping. The sleepless nights finally taking a toll on him. Within seconds, he finally fell asleep. Images of her first encounter with Mori O'hara dominating his mind. That woman holds a gaze of nonchalance, her small lips pursed tightly as she guarded herself against him. She was supposed to be hiding but her big gown was a dead away on her location. Sebastian stared down at the woman whose trying to keep her presence small. For him, she's like a scared rabbit that would run at the slightest touch so he did not dare go nearer. He only came in this side of the garden, thinking that someone followed him. He lowered his body. "You, what are you doing here?" He asked, his velvety voice momentarily dazing her. The woman opened her mouth but before a word come out of it, there was a shuffling sounds not too far from them. Without a warning, that woman pulled him down and wrapped her hands around his neck. Stunned, something soft hit his lips. The two stayed that way as the footsteps became louder, and he stared unblinkingly at her zoom face. Her eyes were the hue of spring growth after a long unforgiving cold. It was bright and green with a hint of stubbornness. Like a pool of forest or a still pond. Sebastian was too mesmerized by her rare green eyes that he unconsciously bit her lips. "Mmh!" "Hurry up and find her!" "You go that way! I'm sure she still hasn't got that far!" Footsteps finally emerged from behind them and Sebastian lowered his body then his lips moved, kissing her deeply as he tasted the sweetness of her mouth. The grip on his neck tightened then a smile appeared at the edge of his lips. "You! D*mn! Don't do it here!" The guard furrowed his brows before leaving the garden in a hurry. Only when the footsteps totally subsided that the woman forcefully freed herself from Sebastian. Her chest rise and fall, panting heavily because of the deep kiss. "Uh," she started but at loss of words. Sebastian smiled calmly, his stares glued to her blushing face. Even the darkness of the night can't hide her innocent beauty, it was rare and new to him. In a world where he was constantly chased and blatantly flirt by different women, the one in front of him was the only woman he have allowed to touch him. While it was true that her grabbing him was unexpected yet he still let her. If it is another person then he could have break five bones in her body without breaking a sweat. It is a wonder why he let a stranger steal his first kiss. "Why are they looking for you, little rabbit?" he said, "Did you do something bad to warrant a search and capture from them?" "N-no!" She shook her hands. He raised his eyebrow, finding amusement at how she darted her eyes from one point to another. Totally panicking. But his stance changed when he realized something. "Do they want to hurt you?" His voice dropped, and the girl stopped fidgeting. "I-it's not like that. I just want to hide, that's all." "Really?" "Yes, they are just looking for me so I can show up at the party." A realization dawned on him. This is the back garden of the O'hara mansion, he was only able to slip inside because of his status. Nobody else can freely roam around the vast mansion except for the O'hara's themselves. So this girl is the only daughter of Benedict O'hara. "It is your father's birthday, why not come inside?" "I don't want to. He's just going to force me to do something I don't want." Her eyes teared, and it took him a great self control to not reach for her. "Please, don't tell him I'm here. I really appreciate your help." Sebastian sighed, "What is your name?" "Mori. Mori O'hara. What is yours?" He felt his phone vibrated again so he pulled it out from his suit. There was a call from Santino but he did not answer it. "I'm Sebastian Andersen, remember that, little rabbit." He said before leaving her alone at the garden. He doesn't know why, but he felt the need to tell her his name. Sebastian jolted awake upon hearing the sound of gunshots. He clutched the gun that has fallen off while he's sleeping, before quietly moving at the side of the window. He peeked outside, his eyes of lethal calm. He saw his men captured someone wearing an all black attire. The guy was struggling but he was no use to the guards twice his size. Retaliation is futile, especially in the territory of Sebastian Andersen. ▪️▪️▪️▪️
