Taming the Stubborn Luna

DANIELLA "When are you planning to stop w*****g and seriously start the search for your fated mate, Danny?" My best friend Jess asks as we come out of the class. This doesn't surprise me since it's not the first time she's acting all caring and concerned about my choice of life. It was quite a boring afternoon with the most boring lesson teacher ever and I can't wait to step out of here and embark on my mission. Today being a Friday, I'm planning to go out with my guy Patton. He's a human tycoon who owns several apartments in town and he doesn't know that I am a werewolf yet. I pray he never comes to learn that I am one since he terms to werewolves as imaginary and ghostly creatures! "Are you serious right now, Jessica?" I stop to face her and ask, quite puzzled by her question. "My fated mate is supposed to search for me, not the other way round!" I huff in annoyance. Damn, the girl I take as my best friend is so annoying and nagging! "I'm just concerned Daniella!" Jessica retorts. "See, right now we are barely out of class and you're already rushing to meet one of your lovers instead of going back home to revise for our final exams. You really surprise me, Danny!" I roll my eyes as I take a step towards Jess. "If that's what is bothering you, then you have to take in a deep breathe and relax." I say to her as I lean forward to whisper into her ears. "I've gat this!" I brag then step away in an attempt to get away from her nagging self. "I know right?!" She scoffs. "Teacher Raul has gat your back." Her words which sting like a scorpion jolt me back to reality, making me stop on my tracks. Does she.... "I know everything about you and Raul, Danny! I know how he leaks all the examination answers to you and how you reciprocate by paying in kind. I-" "Shhhh!" I say while putting a finger over her lips in an attempt to silence her. No one else knows this...or so I presume. No one should! It's our little secret! Only Raul and I are aware! "You're just bluffing, Jess!" I say to her in an attempt to make her keep quiet. "You wish I am-" "What do you know Jess?" I ask curiously, butterflies already fighting in my belly. I guess I'm not that good at hiding my affairs. "I know everything that has to be known so please just cut the crap and remove that frown from your face. It doesn't suit you one bit!" She adds as she grins widely. I thought I was good at hiding stuff yet Jess knows about my affair with the teacher!? Oh no! I look around and notice that some other students are approaching as they head home therefore I get rid of the surprised expression I had previously put on and then don my ever contagious smile. I hope what I'm about to say will intimidate Jess. "You know you can't say anything to anyone, Jess. Not even a soul!" "Relax babe, your secret is safe with me. However, you need to stop all these affairs and concentrate on your studies and also wait for your fated mate!" She assures me then adds. "All these might land you in trouble someday!" Rolling my eyes, I walk past her while clicking and I don't forget to warn her to mind her business and stop worrying about me. I am a big girl and I can take good care of myself! "Big girl indeed!" Jess mocks me. "Look, Danny, you're barely eighteen and I being older than you, you need to heed to my advice. Go slow on all these affairs and you will never regret it!" "Whatever the case, I must meet Patton today since he said he has a surprise for me. Maybe...just maybe...I might stop those affairs after tonight. Just cross your fingers, madam advisor!" I mock her as I walk away towards the pack house. My name is Daniella Stephano and I am almost graduating from high school. My father is Stephano Harrison, the Alpha of the Crimson Moon Pack. I am his first born daughter while my only sibling, my younger brother Warren is only sixteen and still in highschool. As the first born daughter from the Alpha lineage, a whole lot is expected from me but instead of being the great daughter that my parents expect me to be, I always do the opposite of all that they expect of me. First of all, I refused to be driven to school and picked up by the driver since the school is only a few metres from the pack house and according to me, that's wastage of fuel and time. Well, my mom and dad were against it in the first place but they later agreed when they saw that I was adamant and dead serious. Secondly, I refused to be accompanied to school by the maids but my parents always impose them on me whenever I am heading out. Well, I always devise ways to get rid of them whenever I head out the meet my lovers. I am already inside the pack house and I'm rushing to go inside so as to change into my home clothes and then head out when I meet my mother the Luna in the pack house's living room heading out. As usual, she gives me a warm hug and then asks me how school was and I inform her that everything went on well. Mom informs me that she's heading to the Beta's house since she has something to do over there together with the Beta's mate. That happens to be Jessica's home, you know?! Jessica is the Beta's third child and only daughter and their house is right outside the pack house. She is my best friend and I tell her everything about me, including all my affairs even though I left out my affair with teacher Raul intentionally. Raul warned me never to let anyone know about our little secret and I wonder how Jess got to know about it. I guess I'm not that good at hiding stuff! Jessica's elder brothers have all graduated from highschool and the two of them have already met their mates. I just feel so stupid knowing that I had a one night stand with Michael, the eldest son during his graduation but he ended up meeting his mate three days later immediately he hit eighteen. Since then, nothing else could happen between us even after severally seducing him to no avail. That guy knew all the right places to hold a woman. He really took me to cloud nine! Sometimes, I sit down and analyse my life and just pity myself. I am only few months away from eighteen yet my body count is higher than my years. It's almost double my years...damn! After bidding my mom goodbye, I rush to my room to change and then head back downstairs to the living room where I'm met by two of my maids waiting for me so as to serve me. Ignoring them, I walk past them to the kitchen where I meet the chef who offers me a stool Immediately. I lower myself on it and I ask her which food is available. Cate takes me through the list of food that she has prepared today and after she's done, I tell her to serve me a steak and some roasted potatoes since I just want light food. Besides, I know that Patton has some delicious food with him in his house and I don't want to miss those delicacies! I'm still biting into the delicious steak when the two maids, Peris and Stella enter the kitchen and stand strategically, waiting to serve me. "What brings you here, ladies?" I ask them while still munching onto my delicious food. "Are you that idle to an extent of following me around?" "We are sorry ma' but we wanted to ensure you don't lack anything!" Stella replies while still bowing down. I intimidate them that much! "My parents have taken care of that so no need to bother yourselves, ladies!" I scoff as I empty my plates. I was famished already and right now I am full. After thanking the chef who's busy preparing more food, I pass in between the maids and then walk away towards the door. "Make yourselves useful elsewhere!" I hiss as I head towards the parking lot. As usual, my driver rushes to my car immediately he spots me and upon climbing onto the driver's seat, I also climb into the back seat and also make myself comfortable and just before I lock the door, Stella and Peris catch up with me and they climb in, each at my side. I know they're just following my parent's instructions therefore I don't bother stopping them but trust me, I'll just ignore them through out the journey to wherever I am headed to. "Where to, ma'am?" Nicholas the driver asks. "To the mall." I reply, without sparing him a glance. They all know me better. I hate engaging them in conversations. "Alright ma'." he says as he drives out of the pack house's parking lot. Right outside the pack house, we're met by my best friend Jess who's on her way to my house. Since Nicholas knows her as my best friend and the Beta's daughter, he slows down and when I lower the car window, he eventually comes to a halt and Jess approaches the car. "You didn't put our conversation into consideration, did you?" She asks immediately she gets to the car. "If you don't have anything else to say, goodbye!" I say to her as I bring the window up. "Danny, wait!" She says in an effort to stop me. "Let's go Nicholas." I instruct my driver who ignites the car and then drives off, leaving a confused Jess. Not today Jessica....not today! At the mall, I shop for a new off-shoulder dress which is tight and short, barely touching my knee and a pair of heels. Patton loves them short and tight. I then purchase a new clutch bag and withdraw some cash for security purposes. I don't like moving around without cash. All this while, my maids are following me around while the drive is waiting at the parking lot for us to be through so a to drive us back home. Well, he's in for a rude shock because I'm about to get rid of him, as well as this suffocating pair of wolves I call my maids. Even as I do my purchases, Patton won't stop calling to ask whether I'm almost at our meeting point but I keep on ignoring his calls but I eventually reply that I am at the mall picking some stuff and that I'll be with him shortly. I know he already misses me since we last met two weeks ago. I always avoid him whenever I am with Raul or any other of my numerous lovers, besides, I'm only available on Friday nights, weekends and holidays. In the mall's changing rooms, I change into my new dress and shoes and after ensuring I'm stunning, I step out and hand the bag with my other clothes to one of the maids and I walk out as they follow closely from behind. I can feel their questioning stares piercing at my back but I choose to ignore them. I'm sure they've already sensed that I'm upto no good. They definitely smell foul play from a far! As usual, I've already devised ways of doing away with them and immediately we reach the elevators, I put my plan into action. I step into an elevator which is taking people to the upper floors and immediately I get in, I close the door so that they won't follow me. Their attempts to unlock the elevator doors prove futile since I keep on pressing the closing button and before they know it, I'm already at the rooftop parking lot where my ride is waiting for me!
