Elena suddenly felt her heart beating faster. She was having a hard time controlling herself.
"Nanny Carter asked me to bring you food!" Elena said as she snapped out of her fantasy. She pushed the tray toward Charles, then turned around and left immediately.
Charles took the food and looked up. It was as if Elena disappeared into thin air, she really just came to bring him food.
