“Be careful! You are an adult, why are you still so careless?” Ronald said with criticism on the other end of the phone.
“Mmm…” Elena unconsciously said.
She was really going crazy after Charles unexcitingly attacked her while she was on the phone with Ronald. She had to endure it though or else Ronald would figure out something more was happening.
“Brother, I am a little tired. I want to go to sleep early,” she said quickly.
“Why are you going to bed so early?” There was surprise in Ronald’s voice. “Don’t you always stay up late? Don’t you especially like to do that?”
“I’m tired because I took the bus today,” she whispered.
“Ok. Your voice does sound a little dull. Goodnight,” Ronald said.
