The room was large with a piano in the corner. Elena presumed it was for her mother, Cate, and Aunt Sunny to practice the piano. Elena looked around quickly and then went to the balcony.
The balcony of the piano room was not too far from the balcony of Sunny’s room. Elena jumped across and landed on her feet. The balcony door to her room was not locked, Elena opened the door slightly and quickly squeezed in.
On a table, there was a single photo of Cate, Elena smiled. She opened a drawer and saw a notebook, she rushed to open it but then could not believe her eyes, the notebook was empty.
Elena quickly flipped through the notebook again and again. Except for the name of the first page, proving that it belonged to her mother, there was nothing in it. She felt completely confused.
