Miranda's heart raced to her lungs, and she wondered, "What does Master Derrick want from me?" She clicked the message and read it, and he asked her, "Hi, can you please come back home? My mother misses you, and she really wants to see you again?"
Miranda stared at the chat as she wondered how Derrick got her chat name. She blinked her teardrops away, wondering if she could tell him that she was expecting his baby.

"No, I cannot tell Master Derrick that I'm pregnant. I know Mother would be worried, and not like him. As he wouldn't want to see me by himself. What should I do now?" Miranda wondered as she saw Derrick typing again.
