Alexa was anxious at home, knowing that she had lied to Derrick about being on her monthly period and used it as an excuse not to visit his family house. She was with her friend, Agnes, and decided to phone Derrick again to apologize and assure him that she would visit his mother the following weekend.
"Hello, Alexa," Derrick answered the phone call as he noticed Miranda waiting for him. She was inexperienced, and instead of going into the hospital for her medical checkup by herself, she was standing there waiting for him as if he were her husband.
"Good morning, Derrick. Happy Sunday to you," Alexa said, speaking to Derrick in a sweet tone.
"Thank you," Derrick replied, adding, "I will give you a call later. I'm out with someone my mother asked me to accompany to the hospital."
