I open the door to my room and step aside for her to enter. I wanted to respect her not being ready to share a room again, but my need to be close to her won out. We stood in the hallway, and I let her make the choice. A simple nod towards my room made Titus and I both happy. Every second with her, I am more and more enamored that the moon goddess made her just for me.
We finished up dinner a while ago in the private dining room tonight. I wanted her to relax and not feel all eyes on her. I knew it wouldn’t be long before word of her powers got out. I mean, you can only hide someone with glowing golden eyes for so long. So tonight, we dined as a family.
