Kissing her cheek, he got up to get the hamburgers and fries to bring to the table.            “Tell me about your friends. There is no use talking about our problems right now until something new develops.”            Knowing that he was right, she proceeded to tell him about the people she considered family. “You know that Jason and Camille are brother and sister. Their parents died in a car accident a few years ago and Jason took over his dad’s auto body shop so that he could still support Camille. She does what she can to help out. Takes care of the house, cooks, and does the laundry, that sort of thing. When things get tight, she takes a part-time job.” Lindsey shrugged, regretting it almost immediately. Apparently, the rub that Tony had put on her earlier was wearing out already.
