After the commotion, the Abbotts had ridden back to the ranch. Joseph walked to the Sheriff’s office to tell Big Horn about Howie watching the bank. Now he’s on his way over to the saloon. He had to get out of the house with that woman. Lucy had gotten on his last nerve. She didn't talk much; her presents had gotten to him.
