It’s been two weeks since I started working for Kamile. These past two weeks have been hectic. Last week she finalized the transaction and paperwork for the two hundred acres, and she’s excited about that, but besides that, it has been work and home. Three nights ago I swore I caught the smell of rogues. I would say about three, but I never saw no none. I have also noticed that Kamile passes by a certain intersection as if looking for someone. In fact, it’s close to where I met her for the first time and I wonder if she’s still looking for me.
“Xander?” she calls, making me look at her.
