The night of the party finally arrives, and I’ve been dreading every moment of it. I’m taking Quila with me because Cappie asked if he could be there for some ceremony, but have arranged with Charlie to take him to the kennels afterward.
I won’t be getting home at my normal time, and it will upset his schedule. Since I came home from the hospital, I haven’t been able to go anywhere without him, or he would put up such a fuss that the entire neighborhood could hear him. Charlie and I discussed that a bit of separation would do him good. Hopefully, it will get him back on track.
The silly dog wouldn’t even let me go to the toilet in peace without nearly taking the door down!
