I’ve backed off a little since the shooting, wanting her to feel safe and because I have the information I need. When I saw her at the club for the first time after the shooting, I didn’t say a word about it. But I make sure that when she is there that I greet her and spend a minute or two with her doing the one thing I hate the most in this world… Small talk.
I am sure I came on too strong, and I am working to regain her trust without her knowing that I know about the entire incident.
