Log Entry 05.06.3021, 08:07 hours As everyone dressed for the field, Rion and I hovering to one side just in case they needed help suiting up, Jareth sneezed. Just once, and no one else seemed to notice, but he looked at me with fear in his eyes and I looked at him and God, I wished there was something I could say to make it all better. He can’t have the virus, end of story. He just can’t. He sneezed again before he pulled his face mask on. Rion laughed. “It feels like the flu at first, doesn’t it, Ansel?” No one had to ask him what he meant. “Oh jeez,” Jareth muttered. I turned away. I can’t bear to see that defeated look in his eyes. It scares me to see him so terrified. I’m sure Rion thought he was just kidding, and Paol laughed so I know he thought it was a joke, too,
