I woke up in the morning, stretching my muscles in that unfamiliar bed. Since this room was new, I couldn't sleep for some time at first but eventually, my eyes started to get tired and I fell asleep on the bed, curled in the corner.
But still, I didn't have a night of quality sleep.
Rubbing the sleep away from my eyes, I started to get ready for the day. I took a quick shower and got dressed in the first set of clothes that my fingers touched. I pulled my hair into a ponytail without looking at the mirror, walking towards the door.
I pulled the door open only to jump back in surprise, my hand flying to my chest, "What are you doing here?!" I exclaimed, looking at my mate.
He grinned at me, flashing his flawless teeth, "Good morning" He greeted, ignoring my bewildered state.
