Julien's POV
Cionna snuggles deeper into my arms and listens as I tell her about Josey. I leave out certain details, but I give Cionna as much of the truth as I can. I don't like discussing that time in my life, and with Josey slinking about I especially don't want them crossing paths. At least not without me around.
I look down to find Cionna fast asleep in my arms. I shake my head and adjust her. She feels a bit warm, and I'm worried. I don't want to wake her, but I know she has class tomorrow. Maybe I can drop her off in the morning. She looks like she could use a break. I feel a little uneasy about her sleeping at my place.
