Chapter 4 - Terri's POV

1391 Words
Terri’s POV What a cruel joke, because I can’t back out now. Tyler might have been labeled the playboy of the school for always having women around him, but only I knew the truth: he’d never slept with any of them. I, on the other hand, was the real one getting into everyone’s pants. A week ago, Joyce brought up the fact that there was one girl I hadn’t been with yet. To my surprise, it turned out to be Zia. When Zia first moved to town, she was the pretty, shy girl—the type who turned heads without trying. That was why I befriended her. But a month later, she started gaining weight—a lot of it—and by then, she was too attached for me to shake off easily. The only way I could maintain any sort of connection was by making our friendship a secret. I didn’t need the mocking I’d get for being seen with her. So, when Joyce pointed out Zia was the only “legal” girl in our school I hadn’t been with, I could practically see the gears turning in her head. She zipped up her skirt and fixed her hair, looking almost too excited. “I have an idea,” she chirped suddenly. I groaned. Joyce’s ideas were rarely good. “Let’s get out of here first,” I said, pushing the door slightly to make sure the main arts room wasn’t already occupied. “The bell for the next period just rang.” “But what if you slept with her… and recorded it?” she said, her voice low but mischievous. I froze in place, my forehead creasing. Ever since Zia started gaining weight, the idea of kissing her, let alone sleeping with her, was repulsive to me. And now Joyce was actually suggesting it? “Are you insane?” I slammed the door shut again and turned to glare at her. “No, baby,” she said, pulling me closer by my tie, her voice dropping into a whisper. “But what if I dared you to?” A smirk tugged at my lips. “And what do I get if I win?” She smiled knowingly. “Girls. I have some pretty friends from the high school uptown. I’ll introduce you to them.” I pulled her into a breathless kiss, already imagining the possibilities. “That’s why I love you,” I murmured against her lips. “You always know what I want.” “I know you don’t want me, you bastard,” she teased, but her flushed cheeks betrayed her words. No one could resist me. Even boys wrote me letters, confessing their feelings. “So, what’s the plan? Just have s*x and spread rumors?” I asked, arching an eyebrow. She tilted her head thoughtfully, then shook it. “I have a better plan,” she said, her eyes lighting up. “How about you take a video? Everyone’s curious about how the fat b***h moans. Does she moo? Or just lie there like a log?” Her laughter rang out, and despite myself, I joined in. We were interrupted by the arts teacher, who caught us mid-laugh. Thankfully, we were dressed, so we got off with a two-minute scolding. Later, as Joyce and I regrouped, she outlined the details of her plan. “Make sure you introduce me to your friends first,” I bargained. “I’ll take one of them as a down p*****t before I proceed. After all, Zia’s worth at least five girls.” Joyce frowned slightly, but soon she found the humor in it and nodded. True to her word, she linked me up with one of her uptown girls that very night. Now, I was supposed to have the remaining four girls today. Everything was set for me to go through with the plan. I’d strategically placed cameras around the room and turned them on well before Zia even arrived in her usual, worn-out clothing. She had been paired with Tyler and Cain for the project—and while Tyler was a troublemaker, he was still the official Alpha of the pack. If a video like this got out, he wouldn’t hesitate to have my head. Realizing the risk, I decided to change tactics. I’d take care of it at Zia’s home. That way, I could also go after her sister and stepmother. Maybe, if luck was on my side, I’d record a separate video of just the two of us. But unlike before, when all her attention had been on me, something had shifted. She didn’t seem to fawn over me anymore. Her focus had shifted to her three fated mates. It annoyed me more than I’d care to admit. I’d make sure my brothers rejected her. Once they did, she’d come crawling back to me, her only source of comfort. Until then, I had two days to brace myself for Joyce’s wrath if I didn’t deliver. Joyce had a way of finding out people’s secrets and exposing them mercilessly. That b***h knew how to hurt people in ways that truly mattered—and I couldn’t afford to be one of her victims. “Oh, Terri, I love the way you f**k me,” Joyce moaned, pulling me back to the present. We were currently in my car right in front of Zia's house. Joyce continued to ride me like there was no tomorrow, and usually, she'd have had me coming in a few minutes. But not this time. Not when I could barely concentrate on anything—not when I had just one day left to give her the video. "Terri, grab my boobs," she said, placing my hands on them as she continued to ride me in reverse cowgirl. But when she finally noticed my apathy toward the s*x we were having, she stopped. "Is something bothering you, babe?" she asked. I crunched my nose in disgust at her calling me "babe," but I wasn't about to upset her by calling her out. "No, nothing at all," I said, giving her boobs a pinch to spur her on, but she was done. She climbed off my thighs and sat in the passenger seat. "Are you like this because you haven’t been able to make that video?" she asked. This got my attention as I turned to her, hurriedly putting my half-hard c**k back into my pants. "It's just that—" I started, but she interrupted me. "We had a deal, Alpha Terri, and if that deal is broken, you know what's at stake. I've been coming here every day for the past eight days, and you have nothing to show!" Her tone rose with each word she said. She was getting more pissed off. "I know. I will definitely get the video. Just give me some time," I sighed, brushing my hair back in frustration. This was harder than I expected. "Time? It’s so unlike you not to deliver after getting what you wanted. I gave you two girls already, so it’s too late to back out." There was a hint of threat in her tone, and even though I was an alpha, we made a deal—and werewolves never take those lightly. "I know, I know." "Don’t tell me you’ve fallen in love with that fatty." She had a glazed look in her eyes as she stared me down, as if daring me to deny it. "Love? Tell me another joke, Joyce. Don’t worry about the video—I’ll get it before Monday." I spoke with feigned confidence, but my attention was drawn to her shifting gaze. "Terri, are you in there?" It was Zia. My heart skipped a beat. I didn’t know if it was from fear or simply because the person I was planning against might have overheard the whole conversation. A rather sinister look crossed Joyce’s face as she said, "Prove that you’re not in love with her and let her see me." "Joyce, we are in front of her house!" I hissed under my breath, but she gave me a deadpan look that made it clear she wouldn’t back down. Reluctantly, I opened the door for Zia. The look of shock that registered on her face when she saw us burned itself into my memory.
