I sat on my bedroom floor with my back against the bed and my arms wrapped around my knees. I thought about everything that had happened, learning that Ryan’s Uncle Carrington was my father. Not only would I be Ryan’s brother, but I’m his cousin. It was surreal and confusing.
I ran my hand through my hair, wondering how this was possible. It made sense since I never formed a bond with my so-called sperm donor and didn’t resemble that family.
