Rule Number One: Never Make a Move On Someone Else’s Man
With the guys settling in, we all hung out more. Ryan would be here within the next week. They were all wrapped up at the hotel, and Charles didn’t need Ryan’s help anymore.
I called Ryan to see how things were going. As the line connected, I heard not his voice, but a female voice answer, “Hello?”
“Where’s Ryan?” I asked her.
“Ryan is busy now,” she mentioned in a tone that I didn’t like.
“What’s he doing?” I asked, hoping it was nothing.
“He’s in the shower right now.” Panic set in. Then what I heard after that made my blood run cold. “I was about to join him. Is there something you needed?”
“Not anymore,” I said, ending the call - Jules. I let the phone drop to the ground and started sobbing.
