After the antics at my house, Dad wanted us to control our anger and put it to beneficial use. So, he made a call. Someone dragged me out of bed at four am on a Saturday.
“Get moving,” a guy ordered.
I walked out in a pair of sweats and nothing else. I walked down the stairs to meet Hunter.
He handed me shoes and a coat. “Throw this on and follow me.”
I pulled on the hoodie and sneakers, following him out of the house towards a car. I climbed in and noticed Uncle Elliot.
“Hello, Ryan.”
“Uncle Elliot.”
Hunter climbed in, and Elliot ordered him to drive. It took a while, but we pulled up to a building and got out.
