Chapter 9 The Extraordinary Bug (Part Two)

1312 Words
"This is a War Spirit warrior......" Carl looked at the War Spirit warrior before him with eyes that shone. It was obvious that he did not have any weapons in his hands and waist earlier! But at this moment, with a flash of silver light, two peculiar-shaped pistols appeared in his hands. It was so magical that it was hard for anyone to fathom this exceptional skill, except for the warriors of the War Spirit! At the moment when Carl was still in a daze, the warrior had taken aim at the extraordinary bug with his two guns, as it struggled in the same spot. "Silly boy, why haven't you left yet?" When he was about to pull the trigger, the War Spirit warrior suddenly hesitated. Looking back, he found that Carl was still standing in the same place, so he immediately roared. Unexpectedly, when he turned around and wanted to shoot again, there was a sudden clicking sound. With a huge tug, the extraordinary bug managed to pull out its sharp blades which was embedded deeply into the ground. Roar! Bang! Bang! The warrior fired two shots in a hurry, but the silver bullets were blocked by the sand and gravel in the air, so they did not hit the bug. "Kid! Stay away from me! Don't get in my way!" The warrior shouted and asked Carl to stay aside. However, after the dust settled, the bug had long disappeared. The War Spirit warrior turned his head and looked around. Suddenly, there was a scream of fear from Carl behind him. The warrior looked back at Carl, who had obeyed his order and ran aside to avoid harm. However, as soon as he stood still, some sounds came from the pile of debris above his head. Carl looked up and saw that the bug, who was at the other side just now, was looking down at him, baring its long fangs and showing its claws. He could not help screaming in fear. The War Spirit warrior clicked his tongue. He could not help thinking of this terrible situation. Without any hesitation, he held the g*n in his right hand, positioned it sideways at his chest and quickly pulled the trigger. Bang! He pulled the trigger and the bullet curved in a strange arc as it headed toward the bug on the pile of debris. Carl had never seen such a strange move before and the bug did not notice the bullet. But the power of the bullet was extraordinary! The bullet hit the debris on which the bug was standing. The bug immediately lost its foothold and fell to the ground with a strange scream amid a pile of debris. Carl had been alert the moment he heard the gunshot and his strong desire to survive made him consciously run to the warrior. He knew very well that if he wanted to walk out of the trash mountain alive, the War Spirit warrior before him was his only hope of survival. "Hurry up!" The War Spirit warrior ran a few steps toward Carl and pushed him behind his back. Then, he scrutinized the pile of debris in front of him carefully. After a few seconds, the bug shook off the heavy pile of debris it was buried under. Roar! The bug suddenly knocked away the debris, its scarlet and horrible looking compound eyes reflecting the images of Carl and the War Spirit warrior. "Silly boy, it looks like if we don't get rid of it today, the two of us won't be able to leave this garbage heap alive," the War Spirit warrior said with a serious face. Carl hid behind him and said in shock, "But I have been watching you fight it just now. It has been a long time. Is it that difficult to kill it?" In Carl's mind, the power of guns was great with fast shooting speed and what the warrior was facing was merely a Zerg bug with two sharp blades. Why was it so difficult to defeat it? The War Spirit warrior shook his head. With a g*n in his hand, he gestured toward the bug in front of him and explained, "This isn't an ordinary Zerg. Even though it is only an ordinary six-legged beetle, its outer shell has already evolved into a copper armor......" "What! Their outer shells can evolve?" Carl was stunned. He was once again shocked by the capabilities of the Zergs. The War Spirit warrior shook his head. Now as the two sides were still confronting each other, he had extra time to explain it to Carl. "The so-called copper armor means that its outer shell has the hardness and thickness of an ordinary copper device. Although I have a way to break through its outer shell, I need special ammunition." After hearing that, Carl was stunned and immediately asked, "Then kill it quickly. Don't you have enough special ammunition?" The War Spirit warrior shook his head with a bitter smile and explained, "The bullets I used to shoot were all made of my spiritual power. Ordinary bullets can be used at will, but if I need those bullets that can break through the copper armor, I can make ten bullets at most according to my current spiritual power...... After ten bullets, I will be like an ordinary person who does not have any spiritual power......" Carl's eyes widened, "Isn't it too few? Only ten shoots!" The bug's movements were so fast that it would be highly difficult to kill it with only ten shots. "It's too few......" Carl complained in a low voice, but the War Spirit warrior still heard it. He smiled helplessly and then replied, "I'm sorry, but when I took on the mission, I thought that it was only an ordinary six-legged bug in Rum town. That's why I took on this mission...... To be honest, it was already beyond my ability to deal with the six-legged bug whose armor has already evolved into a copper armor......" Carl curled his lips, "In such a situation, what's the point of saying these things!" "Then, aren't we going to die here today?" Carl clenched his fists. He did not expect that before joining the army tomorrow, he would have such an encounter after entering the trash mountain tonight on a whim. The War Spirit warrior sighed. When he saw the six-legged bug brandishing its claws, he frowned and said, "There is still a way to defeat it. If there is a way to restrict its movements, I can accurately fire all ten rounds of powerful bullets into it, then I can kill it......" Carl also frowned and looked around in a slightly agitated mood. However, the more he looked, the brighter his eyes became. The War Spirit warrior was still thinking of a way, muttering in a low voice, hoping to find a way to restrict the six-legged bug's movement. However, right now, they were all in the center of the trash mountain, so the soldiers on the outskirts could not support them at all at this time. After not hearing Carl's voice for a long while, the warrior looked back, while still on the lookout for the six-legged bug. When he saw that Carl's depressed and confused look had disappeared, he immediately realized what had happened. "Why? Do you have any ideas to restrict its movements?" Carl grinned, nodded and said confidently, "Of course, this is my back garden...... If you want me to kill it, it may be difficult for me. But it's easy to restrict its movements!" The War Spirit warrior was skeptical even as Carl leaned over and whispered something into his ear. After that, he asked, "What do you think? What do you think of this plan?" The War Spirit warrior grinned. This was probably the most relaxing time for him tonight......
