6. It’s quarter to ten in the evening and your typical British family makes their way into the only MacDonald’s in Kirkwall. The typical British family being: two vampires who have four thousand years between them, a werewolf, an unknown species of infant and a human who is close to a nervous breakdown. The two girls behind the counter looked at us very strangely. Not because some of us where clearly “diversely human.” The two girls at the cashier had no idea about that. It was enough that two of our group looked like they had just stepped out of a fashion magazine, one was an albino and there was only fifteen minutes till closing time.
