Drake reached for the large white towel wrapping it around his waist as he stepped out the shower, making his way to the nightstand they were charging on he places  his thumb on the small circular button on the iPhone illuminating the screen and slid his thumb across it fumbling through his multiple text messages, all hell had seemed to break loose, women asking where he was and why didn't he text them upon finding out he was in town, if they'd see him while he was still in New York, some patronized him about his constant need for a new girlfriend every five months, demanding to know who the woman was he was with the night before, if she was the reason he'd gone so quiet on them. He mulled over all of the interrogating questions and went straight to friends, family, and business partners. answering the most important ones then completely closing the app, he opened his i********: scrolling passed half-naked models, and latest sports posts, car designs, album art from other artists, and whatever else his personal friends had going on at the moment, pics from last night they had posted shoving proof of a good time. His notifications were limited considering how many he got within a five-minute span, it was full of grainy, distant photos of him and Tae from the night club last night, photos of his arm around her, him whispering in her ear, her smiling. Media sites wasted no time in putting the two in a relationship, there was already stories of the current visual director being his new obsession. "Drake spotted out in NY with his new girlfriend..." "Everything you need to know about rapper Drake's girlfriend..." "Drake ends his tour partying in New York with a new bae!..." Drake chuckled and shook his head at the man captions under several pics of him and Tae seen walking around, no matter what female he was pictured with the media put them together he used to it by now, he knew it would eventually run its course, he immediately closed out the app and opened his text messages again. Tae had been lingering around in his head since she left him, wondering how busy or if she even was busy at the moment. "Thanks again for hanging out with me, Beautiful. Missing your presence already." He typed out in the box, including his pick of brightly colored heart emojis he was so known to use them sent it, he placed his phone on the nightstand and made his way over to his suitcase pulling clothing from it to get dressed. A loud chime sounded from Tae's back pocket as she made her way through the door of her loft styled condo she yelled to her sister but there was no response, she pulled her phone from her back pocket to check the time, a 1 o'clock photoshoot she had to oversee was two hours away, she slid her finger across the screen and typed in her passcode. She hadn't cared to look at her phone on her way home only thinking about a shower and food but her eyes immediately widened as she opened and read text messages from nosey friends asking about her new link to Drake, her i********: was filled with the same tagged photos of her and him from fans and media outlets, accusing the two of being a couple, TMZ and Media Takeout had already run the story earlier that morning about how cozy the two had been in the club and other sites had quickly picked it up. She sighed and tossed her straightened hair from one side of her head to other, visibly frustrated in whatever damage control she thought she'd have to do. She opened her text messages again quickly replying to those friends that this for sure wasn't the case, Drake's text being the newest one to arrive she couldn't help but smile as she read it, she laughed but frowned wondering just how many of these texts he's sent out before. "Thanks for the invite, lol you'll have my presence back around soon." She simply replies back She had an hour to make it back into the city, her phone hadn't stopped lighting up due to the new accusations, it's was beyond annoying, to say the least, she frowned thinking harder this was what Drake dealt with every time he was spotted with the opposite s*x, friends or not, ex's or not, the thought of this happening every time she was around a man made her head hurt. Tae made her way into the huge building, passing the receptionist and to the elevator making it to the 12th floor where she saw nothing but familiar faces, everyone standing in the lobby stopped what they were doing, looked at her, and smiled. "IM NOT DATING DRAKE!" She annoyingly hissed as she stepped further into the lobby, everyone gave her a side eye and smirk then proceeded back to what they were doing, Tae stopped at the front desk looking over a single sheet of paper with important information on it. She stopped reading and slowly lifted her eyes to the pale redhead with freckles, the sleeves of her small red Supreme sweatshirt were bunched up her arm, her elbows propped up on the desk, her chin in her hands as she stared at Tae. She stood up from her computer chair and trusted herself forward leaning against the sleek chrome counter with her elbows propped up under her body she looked at Tae, then smiled. "So!!! What's it like dating Drake?... What does he smell like?... is he really as tall as he looks?... Does he really drink as much alcohol as it looks!?... I read som..." "Sammy..." Tae said closing her eyes. "What?..." She asked with big bright green eyes, her face was full of curiosity, her smile was bigger than it normally was and her attention was at 100 percent. "What... is he not really that tall... I knew it!" She shook her head and pressed her lips together in disappointment. "I'm not dating Drake! I just said that! He smells great, yes he's as tall as he looks, I don't know how much alcohol he really drinks and I don't care. Sammy, do not... walk around... THIS OFFICE telling people I'm dating Drake! I hung out with him and that's it!" Tae's voice was full of authority, she didn't want anybody having the wrong idea, she needed the idea of being a friend that hung out with another friend, it was normal, friends hanging out with friends. Sammy chewed the inside of her cheek. "Ok, ok, sorry! But I have to admit, you two are SUPER cute together!" She said throwing her hands up in defense, then leaning back in and whispering. "You're always so cute, you make the most tomboyish outfits cute! How!?" Sammy asked this time her face was ridden with confusion as she shook her head. "It's simple math, long as your hair, makeup, and nails are done. It balances out the tomboy outfit." Tae replied back answering her question with a smile and winking her left eye at Sammy. "Oliver! Got a quick change in plans, I'ma head over to the Supreme headquarters real quick before we leave." Drake yelled as he made his way down the hall looking at his phone, OB, Chubbs, and Ryan sat in the living room of the hotel suite watching ESPN. "Yeah, we do!" OB yelled in agreement, smirking and winking at Drake. He frowned at OB then quickly turned back to Oliver. Oliver looked up in confusion. "What you need to go there for, you don't have any meetings." Drake surveyed the living room, then placed his gaze back on Oliver sitting at the table with a stack of papers and juggling two cell phones. "We need to get some underwear."He seriously replied. Oliver smiled and laughed seeing right through his best friend he shook his head but then nodded. Drake made his way to the kitchen were containers of breakfast foods were spread out like a buffet. He made a plate then sat down in one of the chairs. "You doing pop-ups now!?" Chubbs said looking over at him. "It's not a pop-up." "It's definitely a pop-up. Did she invite you?" "No." "Then it's a pop-up," Chubbs replied back. He shook his head and looked back at the tv. "Mans stalking this chick." He mumbled. Drake calmly and comfortably leaned back in his chair placing his plate of food on the table next to him. "It's not stalking, it's a pop-up." He said while looking at the tv. Tae sat in a black office chair at a huge round table, a projector screen pulled down and the lights off, a fairly young looking man in his early 30's stood next to the screen pointing at certain pictures. Tae hadn't heard a word the man said all she could think about was the media outlets that put her in a relationship with Drake, and the fact that Oliver was asking her to be his personal assistant. It wasn't that the job was any less, she already knew what the job inhaled so it wasn't like she was blind walking into it. There was always perks added to working that close to other celebrities, but she knew Oliver had his own ideas of working with her on certain clothing projects. It was just that she was now at Supreme, she loved fashion and now she was apart of it, creating it, giving her opinion on it. Her curiosity led her to want to know Drake though, there wasn't a doubt that she was physically attracted to him, but she didn't mind being attracted to him on a higher level. Just because she would be working with him didn't mean she wouldn't be involved with fashion, Drake had his own clothing line, It wasn't like she couldn't come back to Supreme, she was respected on both coasts. Tae sat thinking for a moment squinting to herself, frowning to herself, mulling over every possible positive and negative that could come from this.
