I wake up to a whirlwind of activity the next morning. Persephone brings my breakfast tray to me in bed while a man comes flying in with an entourage of assistants. “I am Armando!” he declares boldly as he steps inside. He is wearing a flamboyant suit of many bright colors, and he flashes a confident grin at me as he steps in. “Lady Addison, it is an honor to fit you for a dress for tonight’s ball,” he says, coming to the side of my bed and placing a kiss on the back of my hand. He gives me an exaggerated bow. “But we have little time to work! Ladies, bring in the mannequins!” His smartly dressed assistants bring in seven mannequins, each with an extraordinary ballgown.
