“Who are you?” I screamed in a whisper. An unknown person held my hands the moment I fell from the tree, trying to hide from Jackson and his men.
“Shhhhh.” The faceless being signaled to me. Yet, I was reluctant to succumb to him. Who was he and how am I sure that he was not more deadly than Jackson?
However, I was in a tight corner. I needed to make a decision fast. Wait for Jackson to get me, or follow a total stranger.
