Chapter 26 - Evie vs Crist

“Enough, stop that move of yours!.”
A voice came out from the virtual screen, it was the voice of the man in the Cerberus mask.
Then he disappeared from the virtual screen and appeared in the center of the arena.
Hearing the voice of the man in the Cerberus mask, Moji immediately stopped his hand from Khan's face.
"Since Khan's side has admitted defeat, then this third battle is won by Moji of the D-H& group."
The man in the Cerberus mask then announced the outcome of the fight between Moji and Khan.
Then the weight of gravity around the surroundings around Khan and Moji instantly disappeared.
"Even though prisoner Khan has given up on this fight, his fight with Moji was indeed very great."
"Give them both a round of applause."
The Cerberus masked man praised the battle of the two of them while clapping his hands.
The other prisoners also clapped.
"You two may now descend from the center of the arena."
The man in the Cerberus mask said so to the two of them.

Moji returned with a dry face as if he had run out of fluids to his group's place, namely D-H&.

Khan said with an angry look.

Suddenly the ground beneath them cracked, apparently this was from their boss.

A large prisoner behind them said in an annoyed tone.
"Okay boss."
They both said it respectfully at the same time.

"Now is the last fight for today, I hope the two of them fight more exciting than before."
"For the two prisoners whose names are listed on the screen above, please go up to the arena."
After saying that, the man in the Cerberus mask instantly disappeared once again from the arena.
Then Crist from the D-Ex group and Evie from the G-BF group walked to the center of the arena.
The prisoners around saw two prisoners in the middle of the arena.
Crist is a male prisoner with brown hair features and a slightly protruding face.
While Evie is an adult female prisoner with short purple hair features.
"Since the two prisoners are in the middle of the arena, the fourth battle begins with this."
The man in the Cerberus mask announced the start of the battle between the two of them.
“Hey, a young man looks like our group should thank a little girl in your group for not seriously hurting our little lady.”
Evie said that to Crist.
“If you really want to thank us, can you just give up on this battle?.”
Crist said playfully.
“If it is a request from your group then I will do it.”
Unexpectedly Evie nodded in agreement to Crist's words.
"No no no, what I just said was just a joke. You don't need to return the favor just because of that."
“But my group leader wants to say something to your group leader after today's battle is over.”
Crist refused by shaking his head and told Evie what Jin had said to him.
"Alright I'll tell you later, so how about we fight now?."
Evie asked while getting ready.
"Sure, but don't think I'd go easy on women."
After saying that, Crist touched the ground of the arena.
Then after Crist touched the ground, he felt a strange vibration.
Instead of moving forward, Crist stepped back after seeing Evie's stance.
Then unexpectedly, Evie's right leg suddenly extended like a rubber kick to where Crist had been standing.
“To think you didn't move forward to attack me after seeing my defensive stance.”
Evie was slightly surprised when she saw Crist dodge it, this should have been her first attack so there was no way Crist could dodge it.
“Looks like your ability is an elastic body.”
Crist guessed it right because when he hit the ground, Crist didn't feel a heavyweight like a human but felt light and thin feeling.
Then Crist moved forward by crawling to the ground.
Seeing Crist's strange shape approaching her, Evie extended her arms and struck like a whip to the area in front of her.
Even though Evie tried hard to attack him, for some reason Crist always managed to dodge her.
It was as if Crist could guess which area his attack would fall into.
"Then how about with this?"
After saying that, Evie immediately jumped into the air and shaped her body into a human-shaped paper.
As Evie floated slowly through the air, she occasionally blew air from her mouth down the arena.
“Heh, just like that how can you attack me.”
Crist scoffed after seeing Evie's movements.
But Evie's movements suddenly became erratic, as if they were following a gust of wind.
When Crist could no longer see Evie's movements, suddenly a figure appeared from his blind spot.
Unexpectedly it was Evie's own body.
Bam!
Crist was blown away from where he was.
“Perhaps if I attack with my hands and feet, you'll be able to guess easily. Because of that, I used my own body, even though I became elastic but that doesn't change the fact that I can turn back into a human body.”
Evie who was once again floating in the air said this to the fallen Crist.
“I see, you purposely made yourself as light as possible so my eyes couldn't follow you. then follow the direction of the wind and change your body to normal when it is about to hit me.”
Then Crist came out from where he fell with his face full of dust.
“I don't know what your abilities are, but it must have something to do with the shaking of the ground after seeing that you can dodge my barrage of attacks with your crawling style.”
Evie responded by nodding and guessing Crist's abilities.
Then once again Evie's body flew around the arena following the wind.
Then when the wind was heading towards Crist, he immediately changed his body to normal and Evie's body hit Crist's head straight.
After that Crist's movements became strange like someone about to fall, even so, Evie didn't approach him and immediately turned his body into a light one once more.
'Tch, to think he still hasn't come close to me. This woman's vigilance is very high.'
Even though Crist felt dizzy, but it didn't really matter to him as long as he could touch the ground of the arena.
Then Crist felt a gust of wind from behind him.
'This is the one I've been waiting for.'
After saying that, Crist turned his back and hit the one in front of him.
Unfortunately for some reason, it didn't feel like hitting a human body, but like hitting a piece of cloth flying through the air.
“Hahahaha, did you think I would repeat the same moves over and over again?! of course not."
Evie, who was currently still turned into cloth, didn't feel any pain when she was hit by Crist.
Then he flew once more with the wind.
“So how is it young man, do you want to give up?.”
“No matter how strong you are, you won't be able to beat me with brute force alone. And even your abilities are no match against me.”
Evie said it in a teasing and arrogant tone.
“AHHHH, this is so annoying. Hey Cerberus man, I give up on this battle.”
Crist said in an annoyed tone because what Evie said was a fact.
With Evie's elastic ability, no matter how hard the enemy's blows won't be able to hurt her as long as she's still transforming into an elastic human.
But it's a different story if there is a sharp weapon or ability to control fire like Noel's.
#Honestly, this battle scene confused me the most. the battle of elasticity vs the one that can feel the vibration of the ground, it's really hard to make the scene. So if it's not as exciting as the previous fight, Gomennasai :( #
