“What has been bothering you?” the healer asked as she checked my pulse, but I didn’t respond. “Your blood pressure is high, my dear, and your wolf isn’t at rest. You and your wolf seem troubled, and it’s affecting your health. If you don’t stop worrying, you might fall critically ill.” She warned while I sighed and closed my eyes. There was no way I would be fine with Alpha Darin unconscious while Alpha Darwin has refused to forgive me.
The healer healed me and left, while I remained in my room all day.
A knock on my door interrupted me from my sleep, and when I asked who it was, it was Naomi. The moment I saw her, a big frown spread across my face.
