Bella's POV
Hours later, I decided to go see Darin at the hospital and try my luck to see if maybe I would be allowed to visit him. Reaching the hospital, I realized two guards were stationed at the door of his room, and I knew it was all because of me.
“Can I please just see him for a second?” I pleaded with the guards, but they both shook their heads at me.
“We were instructed by Alpha Darwin not to let you in,” they stated firmly, but I wouldn’t give up.
“It will be just for a minute, I promise you Alpha Darwin won’t know,” I pleaded desperately, but the look on their faces showed that they were not going to allow me in.
The door of Alpha Darin’s room opened, and a doctor walked out. He looked at me with pity before asking me to come with him.
