They must have realized my silence as a no and remained in the room. What happened with Fela was still frightening me. I knew I shouldn’t be scared of him, but the way he attacked and began coiling himself around me was something I should be scared of. It felt like he was trying to warn me against my actions, and if Alpha Darwin was right, then it might be that Fela sensed that I wanted to harm the twins, so he came to attack me. What baffles me the most is my inability to shift into my wolf. I felt weak and powerless, and if the alphas hadn’t heard me calling for help through the mind link, I believe Fela would have strangled me to death.
