As we ate breakfast, I glanced at Alpha Darwin, who hadn't looked my way since he arrived at the table. Neither had he talked about the apology notes and flowers I left in his room. Luckily, Naomi wasn’t at the table; she was probably still asleep and couldn’t make it to breakfast. Constantly, I glanced at Alpha Darwin, wishing he would look my way or at least say something, but he was silent, his eyes fixed on his plate of food.
